Welcome to our Homeowners Forum – What do you want to know?
Consultation has concluded
At Longhurst Group, we’ve a large variety of customers. These range from general needs customers to shared owners and retirement leaseholders, to name a few. We wanted to make a space for our homeowner customers, where we can discuss what’s important to you.
To kick things off, we want to create a collection of Q&A sessions here on The Hub, focused on topics which are of interest to our homeowner customers. To do this, we’d like to hear from you about what topics you’d like to hear about. It could be you’d like more information about staircasing or have some burning questions about how service charges work. This is your opportunity to have your say, so we can bring you what you want to hear about.
Once we have these suggestions from our homeowner customers, we’ll create a calendar of Q&A sessions, each with its own topic. So you don’t miss out on taking part in these Q&As, make sure you click the ‘Subscribe’ button on this page.
Is there anything else I need to do?
We’d like to invite you to join The Hub by hitting the ‘Register’ button on this page. This’ll give you the opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects and to tell us what really matters to you.

Thank you to our customers who have already contributed ideas towards future Q&A projects. Off the back of what has been suggested already, we’ve decided our first Q&A will be regarding major works to properties and permissions. We will outline what our surveyors look for when permission requests are made and what factors are considered. We will include a Question board, so if you have any general questions about this topic, we can provide further information and answers.
In our recent edition of Our Voice, we published an article about service charges. As this is a subject area relevant to our homeowner customers, we will make a Q&A project about this too.
We will keep this project open so we can receive more ideas from you and find out what subjects you are interested in.
