Update from our Managers

Our Lettings Manager and Housing Services Manager have used your feedback to enhance transfer letters. In particular, they looked to improve how we can better manage customers’ expectations.

You said: You could state what priority you would come under and time scale of how long it will take to be transferred, otherwise were all in limbo. To add a timescale of waiting times and priority.

We did: In the past, customers may have waited longer because a house wasn’t available in the desired location. Under the new process we will ensure that an application to transfer is only accepted if we have an available property that meet the customer’s needs.

In addition, your Housing Officer will complete a review after 3 months, and then each 3 months thereafter whilst you are waiting for a home. The purpose of this review is to keep you up to date and to discuss all the options available to you.
