Meet the Customer Forum

Jennifer Anderson, Rushden
(Chair)

Jennifer is Chair for the Forum. She brings a wide range of experience from a career spanning the print and media, recruitment, wildlife conservation, sustainability and education sectors; she is a governor on the board of a school.

From her roots in the print industry, Jennifer moved into HR and enjoyed many years running a successful legal recruitment agency in the City of London. Alongside her love of working with people and organisations, she harnessed a passion for wildlife and the environment to develop considerable expertise in conservation and sustainability. Jennifer is an elected Fellow of the Zoological Society of London and of the Linnean Society at Burlington House, and she thrives on nurturing positive change in her role as Director of Wildlife and Environmental Studies at Akkadium College.

She was also a member of the Customer Evaluation Panel contributing her skills and experience to the repair’s procurement process.

Angela Ryan, Northfield

Angela has been a Longhurst Group customer for 10 years and wanted to get involved to have a voice for herself and other customers.

She said she likes to ensure everything is fair and that everyone is being looked after properly and is happy to speak up for other people. Angela enjoys having a voice for herself and other customers and feels she can bring her experience of being a customer to the Forum as she has empathy for both sides, as well as being a people person.

Angela wants to be able to help ensure customers understand any changes to their tenancies or services, as she knows sometimes they have problems communicating with their landlord.

In the past, Angela has had experience in a number of sectors, including retail, housing and nursing before retiring.

Francis Hudson, Branston

With a background working in tenancy support, Francis is keen to bring his experience to the Customer Forum.

Living in Lincolnshire, he’s been a Longhurst Group customer for three years and has also worked in homelessness support planning, helping people with complex needs access appropriate permanent housing.

Francis says he believes that quality affordable housing should be accessible to everyone in society and he aims to ensure that people can access that housing and receive support where required to help them to sustain permanent tenancies.

Tina Claridge, Spalding

Tina, who’s lived in Spalding for three years, hopes to bring her wealth of experience from working for a local council to her role with the Customer Forum.

Having worked in local government for 18 years, she’s gained expertise across health and safety, repairs and customer service and Tina believes this experience showcases her dedication to delivering quality services to residents.

Tina also believes in giving back to society and volunteers with her local food bank, where she plays an essential role in helping those in need. She’s also been actively involved in supporting Ukrainian communities.

Dave Peacock, Spalding

Dave has a broad range of experience to draw upon for his work with the Customer Forum.

Having spent 25 years in the food industry and then 10 years working in grounds maintenance, he has a varied skill set and experience of working with people from all walks of life. Dave describes himself as a people person who likes to listen to what’s required by the customer.

Having been a customer of Longhurst Group for almost two decades, Dave feels now is the time to become more involved in having a say on how the Group looks after its customers.

Now retired, Dave wants to bring his varied knowledge from his broad working background to the Customer Forum to help all customers wherever he can.
